Houston Astros ace Roy Oswalt left Saturday evening's start against the San Diego Padres after just 4.2 innings with a strained left oblique.Owsalt was pulled following consecutive RBI singles by Brian Giles and Geoff Blum in the fifth inning. He came into the game with a 13-6 record and a five-game winning streak.
Houston also lost Carlos Lee to a strained hip flexor in the third. The slugger may have sustained the injury when he made a hard slide into shortstop Khalil Greene to break up a double play in the first inning on a Mike Lamb grounder.
Oswalt and Lee are both listed as day-to-day.
