After a painful 1-9 three-city swing, the Colorado Rockies swept the New York Mets with an exciting 17-7 punctuation Wednesday, outscoring the opposition 34-12 on 47 hits for the series.
Todd Helton and Garrett Atkins both nailed a season-high five RBI as the Rockies pounded out 20 hits in a lineup swinging their bats well from top to bottom. Atkins, Brad Hawpe and Troy Tulowitzki all homered for Colorado.
