Tuesday's Babelicious Scoreboard

Just a few hours after announcing his end-of-season retirement plan, Craig Biggio topped off a six-run sixth inning with a huge, tie-breaking grand slam to lead the Houston Astros over the Los Angeles Dodgers Tuesday night.

This marks the 20-year veteran third baseman's fourth career grand salami and second of the season. He reached 3,000 hits on June 28th.

Los Angeles starter Mark Hendrickson (4-5, 4.58 ERA) gave up three runs on six hits in five-plus innings to ease the Dodgers into their fifth loss in eight games.

After losing his last five starts, Jason Jennings (2-6, 4.74 ERA) surrendered three runs and three hits over six innings of work for the win.

Brad Lidge tossed the ninth for his fourth save since blowing three saves and returning from the disabled list in mid-July.
