Tuesday's Babelicious Scoreboard
Not only did J.D. Durbin earn his first big league victory last night for the Philadelphia Phillies, but he nailed three hits, too. The righty tossed six good innings, allowing only 1 run on 6 hits and striking out three.
The Phillies absolutely dominated with a 26-hit attack on Mark Hendrickson and the Los Angeles Dodgers bullpen, getting 7 runs on 11 hits in just the first three innings.
Hendrickson lasted only 1/3 of the way into the game, as Ryan Howard and company ripped the bullpen apart. Howard went 2-for-6 with 4 RBIs and Chase Utley had a 3-for-6 night with 3 RBIs. Wes Helms, Shane Victorino and Aaron Rowand drove in two runs a piece, as well.
And that's not all! Congratulations to Pat Burrell - a perfectly normal-eyed hottie - on his 200th career longball.
Matt Kemp and Ramon Martinez were responsible for the Dodgers' 3 runs.
