Sunday's Babelicious Scoreboard
Here we are, talking about this J.D. Durbin kid again.
The 25-year-old Philadelphia Phillies reliever-turned-starter earned his second victory in just his fourth big league start Saturday, giving up five hits while only allowing one base runner past second.
The self-proclaimed "Real Deal" walked three and struck out three in his first career complete game shutout.
San Diego Padres starter Jake Peavy tossed six innings and gave up 4 runs and nine hits with two walks and 6 strikeouts.
The Pads' bullpen combined to surrender 5 more runs and hand the Phillies' their third straight victory for the four-game series win.
Offensive support was abundant in Shane Victorino, who went 3-for-6 with 3 RBIs while Ryan Howard went 2-for-2 with 2 runs batted in.
The reigning NL MVP enjoyed an 11-for-22 road trip with five home runs, 13 RBIs and 10 walks.
Aaron Rowand also drove in two runs for the Phillies, Jimmy Rollins hit his 19th homer of the season, and Chris Coste was responsible for the other run - a productive groundout in the eighth.
Fun fact: The Padres were one of six teams to combine for only 27 hits and get shut out on Sunday.

His myspace is totally a spammer named Michelle now. Sadly, no more Tits and Ass For Me page.
As a Padres fan, I am still binge drinking this morning from the Phillie series.
Someone stole the Padres bats, gloves, and pitching arms since the All Star Break. Only Chris Young seems have had a Club on his arm to keep it from getting jacked with everyone else's equipment. I'm calling in Dog the Bounty Hunter.
I'm still dying inside about the Twins letting Durbin go. I'll say it until we get him back.
We really really could have used him this season...
PS.
I got to boo Princess Bonds* this weekend from less than 10 feet away from him. Sure the Giants killed the Brew Crew 8-0, but nothing beats getting to heckle Barry* from where he can actually hear (and ignore) you....
