Bill Hall Out Indefinitely
As Pittsburgh Pirates right fielder Ryan Doumit's solo shot sailed overhead, Milwaukee Brewers center fielder Bill Hall leaped to try to catch it and sprained his right ankle instead.
Last year's club MVP is out indefinitely, considering the general severity of a high-ankle sprain. He most definitly will not return until after the All-Star break and may be sidelined up to a month.
This comes as some pretty crappy news to the NL Central-leading Brew Crew, who have lost five of seven, including three of four in Pittsburgh. Hall is hitting .272 with nine home runs and 38 RBIs at fourth and fifth in Milwaukee's order in 288 at bats.
With Hall out, Kevin Mench and Gabe Gross should see more time at the plate.

I remember when the White Sox were good. (Context: Nick Punto just made the score of a major league baseball game 18-8. Nick. Punto.)
I, Stu, ask you, Sooze: has a manager ever been fired between doubleheader games? Because it might just happen.
And I apologize for going off-topic. Sorry, Brewer fans.
Well, if not between, definitely after. That is, if he doesn't resign.
I had the pleasure of listening to the game on the river today and watching the second one in the a/c. Perfect.
