Eric Milton Lands on the DL
Earlier this evening, the Cincinnati Reds placed left-hander Eric Milton on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained pitching elbow.
Over six starts this season (31.1 innings), Milton has struggled to a 0-4 record and 5.17 ERA. He is a rather unimpressive 87-84 with a 5.01 ERA in 10 big league seasons, including 226 appearances with the Minnesota Twins, Philadelphia Phillies and Reds. At 31-years-old, he is entering the third and final season of a $25 million contract.
To replace Milton on the roster, Cincinnati activated righty Jared Burton from the 15-day DL, where he was sidelined since the beginning of April with a strained left hammy. He pitched only once this year on April 4th against the Chicago Cubs, where he walked three batters and retired just one.

Sweet pit stain.
Bwaahaaahahaha! Dude, and it's not like he's pitching all hard and winning games for the Reds...
New rule: Pit stains are only justifiable if said pitcher has an above-average ERA and winning record.
With an 0-4 record who cares where he is. Better off on the DL
