Thursday's Babelicious Scoreboard
Alex Rodriguez, homering in his third straight game, smoked a three-run shot that capped a comeback from a four-run deficit with two outs in the ninth inning, leading the New York Yankees to a three-game sweep with an 8-6 victory over the Cleveland Indians.
It probably can't get much more exciting than that.
Rodriguez matched Albert Pujols (2006) and Luis Gonzalez (2001) for the second-fastest to 10 home runs behind Hall of Fame third baseman Mike Schmidt (12 games in 1976), according to Elias Sports Bureau. A-Rod is the first player with two walk-off homers this early in the season since Philadelphia's Pat Burrell had two over the first nine games in 2002, and his 10 longballs and 23 RBIs leads the major leagues.
Sean Henn (1-0) pitched one inning, following Chase Wright and Kei Igawa to become the third Yankees rookie in three games to get his first big league win.

I did not know that!
A-Rod Schmay-Rod. He's been the best third baseman for a long time and will continue to do so until he breaks a limb. Let the fellatio resume.
