Remember Pedro Martinez?

Yeah, he might be back soon. So, all you schlubs that missed your fantasy baseball draft and had him auto-drafted to your team, hang in there!

Recovering from rotator cuff surgery, Pedro Martinez is confident that he will make his much-anticipated comeback in the second half of the season.
"I am super excited with how things are progressing. I feel as good as I did in 1996 and 1997," the 35-year-old New York Mets ace told The AP on Wednesday.
Pedro is a career 206-92 with a 2.81 ERA and is two strikeouts away from 3,000. Last season, he went 9-8 with a 4.48 ERA.

I'm one of those schlubs. Hey! I had to work!

But yes, I've hung on to him this long, might as well keep him for when comes back to dominate.

There are few pitchers like Pedro anymore. It'll be great to see him back.

Yeah, I'm excited to see him pitch again, too. Hopefully this surgery will lengthen his career a bit.
