Jays Get Down to Business

The Toronto Blue Jays agreed to terms on one-year contracts with 20 players on Sunday, including left-hander Gustavo Chacin and his sweet shades.

The 26-year-old starter was 9-4 with a 5.05 ERA in 17 starts last season, which was cut short due to elbow surgery. As a 2005 rookie, he was 13-9 with a 3.72 ERA in 203 innings over 34 starts.

The Jays also inked Aaron Hill to a one-year deal. The 24-year-old, who is expected to be Toronto's Opening Day second baseman, hit .291 with six home runs and 50 RBIs last season, his second in the big leagues.
